The Daily Dashboard is a snapshot of what your night's sleep looked like. It provides a critical view of the things that affect your sleep, from the quantity of sleep to the number of wake-ups. This allows you to keep tabs on whether you are staying on track for the amount of sleep that you need. Additionally, it visualizes your sleep patterns giving you insight into your sleep stages. These sleep stages are a critical marker for the quality of your sleep.
In the Daily Dashboard, you can take a deep dive into what's happening at different parts of the night by viewing the clips that are captured. These clips highlight things like time into bed, time out of bed, and wake ups throughout the night. Here you can see if you are getting enough sleep on a consistent basis.
Understanding The Sleep Stage Graph Data:
Orange: refers to wake ups seen throughout a night, which is defined as more than thirty seconds of activity.
What to look for: Is there a pattern of wake-ups around the same time each night? For example, if you see a consistent wake up around the same time this is probably caused by an outside factor such as a light turning on.
Dark Blue: Refers to the amount of time you were in still sleep, which is the stage where there is little to no movement. Typically 30-40% of the night should be spent in still sleep.
What to look for: If you see a decrease in dark blue this may be a sign of increased restless which may have an effect on your quality of sleep.
Light Blue: Refers to the time you spent in active sleep, which is less than twenty seconds of activity. This is the stage that we spend most of our night's sleep in.
What to look for: Adults do spend a fair amount of time in this stage. This typically does not cause a problem unless these movements are causing you to wake up.
